On Tuesday, students received "passports" to travel to different countries. This experience was created by Miss Velez and her Conexiones class. Students in the Conexiones class researched a Spanish speaking countries and presented cultural information to their peers. Students were able to enjoy food and artifacts from the various countries. Throughout Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15- October 15) Miss Velez and her students have worked hard to inform and present fun facts about Hispanic Heritage throughout the school. 🪅🌎🎶🪇

🎭🔶 Our Welcome Warriors are taking the lead for National Bullying Prevention Month!

These student leaders are planning and organizing activities all month long to spread awareness, encourage kindness, and help students learn about the resources available to them. Today, they visited classrooms with skits they wrote and organized themselves to get their peers thinking and talking about bullying prevention.

We are so proud of these Warriors for stepping up, taking initiative, and making a difference in our school community! 💪❤️

🎉 Attendance Matters at CAEMS! 🎉
Huge shoutout to our dedicated students! Everyone who had perfect attendance all week—in class for all six blocks every single day—enjoyed a special sweet treat during lunch on Friday. 🍦

Ms. Meadows is a graduate of Erwin High School and is a familiar face in the Erwin community, having been a substitute teacher and member of the community for many years. We are so excited for her to join the CAEMS crew! 🔴⚪
