The Paper Plant Press publishes broadsides, folders and chapbooks using handlaid recycled paper and letterpress printing. We offer bookarts workshops.

From 1983-90, the Paper Plant bookstore sponsored a weekly open poetry reading in downtown Raleigh. The Paper Plant currently resides in the residential studios of John and Cara Dancy-Jones. Cara is an educator and artist. John is retired, a writer, and papermaker, letterpress printer, and publisher of the Paper Plant Press. John offers papermaking and bookarts workshops.

Michele Richards was an early supporter of The Paper Plant.
