Western North Carolina School of Massage At Western North Carolina School of Massage, we are committed to excellence in education.

Our comprehensive 700-hour Massage Therapy Diploma Program blends the art and science of massage and bodywork therapy through a dynamic, innovative curriculum. Western North Carolina School of massage is a leader in advanced massage therapy education. We are a North Carolina state approved massage school with approvals and memberships from the NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork), AMTA (American Massage Therapy Association) and ABMP (Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals). We specialize in neuromuscular therapy, structural bodywork and therapeutic massage. We also offer a hospital-based massage externship with an emphasis in palliative care. We offer several specialty certificate programs in massage-related modalities including Clinical Aromatherapy, Oncology Massage, Lymphatic Drainage, and Neuromuscular Therapy. WNC School of Massage in in partnership with the Mind Body Connection, who is an NCBTMB Approved Provider of Massage Therapy Continuing Education for licensed massage therapists. In addition, WNCSOM also has a student massage clinic, which is open to the public.

Grateful for a day of rest at the beautiful Spa at the The Omni Grove Park Inn.

As massage therapists, we spend so much time caring for others that it’s easy to forget the importance of receiving care ourselves. Today was a reminder of how healing it can be to slow down, unplug, breathe deeply, and simply rest.

Thank you to Omni for the warm hospitality, peaceful atmosphere, and restorative experience. Our students left feeling refreshed, inspired, and even more excited for the careers ahead of them. ✨
