Just a reminder that the Oakley Elementary Office will be open Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 5 PM from Monday, June 15, through Friday, August 7. We will be closed on Fridays and on Thursday, July 2.

Dr. Landreth and Mrs. Ensley were proud to represent Oakley at the A.C. Reynolds Class of 2026 graduation. At Oakley Elementary School, we are building future Rockets!

Free Summer Meals for kids and teens 18 and under start on June 12. AC Reynolds High School will be our site, with both breakfast and lunch being served Monday through Friday from June 12th through August 14th.

As you may recall, we learned last month the bittersweet news that our Oakley Assistant Principal, Angela Ensley, had been selected to become the next Principal of Haw Creek Elementary, effective July 1, 2026. Today, I would like to share an exciting update. Starting August 1, Elsilee Garcia will be joining our Oakley family as our new Assistant Principal. Mrs. Garcia comes to us with fifteen years of experience in education, including as a K-3 teacher, an intermediate grades special education teacher, a K-12 behavioral specialist, and for the last five years, as an assistant principal. Please join me in welcoming, Mrs. Garcia.
