Gabby and The TxLips, Starcrushed, Dot Com Bubble, and DJ plantmom9000 will be playing the show of your lives, accompanied by sweet intermissions of cake offerings.

It’s that time again: the annual q***r punk cake-off is coming!

Come out to support Fierce Flix and We Rock Asheville camps on Friday, May 15th for a night of cake auctioning, rockin jams from local bands, and q***r community!

Attention q***r and radical filmmakers! We want to show your work - and we want to show it SILENT with a live score! Fierce Flix and We Rock Asheville are looking for film submissions to screen in January at our annual Silent Films/Loud Music fundraising event! We pair films with local musicians who perform a score for the film live! 10 minute length limit, open to all genres.

💫FIERCE FLIX STILL NEEDS VOLUNTEERS💫

We are seeking volunteers to support Fierce Flix 2025! Our summer camp will be taking place June 23-28 at Warren Wilson College.

🔹Direct support roles include camp counselors, workshop leaders, & ‘vibes squad’ crew members

🔹Indirect roles include food crew, tech support, & year-round organizing.

Fierce Flix centers girls and q***r & trans filmmakers in our programming, and we welcome folks of all genders who support our mission. There are roles for film educators, non-film educators, and people with no experience at all! Lunch and the magic of working with amazing genius kids are provided daily. 💕
