Nobody talks about this.
We’ve spent decades fighting for women’s right to say no. And we should. But what happens when she’s the one pressuring him? And he’s the one who’s TIRED.
What happens when the man says no… and she guilt trips, pouts, or makes him feel like less of a man?
That’s obligatory s*x!! And it’s part of the inequality of toxic patriarchy and monogamy. Even the fact it’s not spoken is a clue!!
The system isn’t broken because men are bad or women are insatiable. It’s broken because compulsory was never designed to hold the full weight of two people’s desire, libido, and emotional needs — forever.
When one person becomes the ONLY source of intimacy for another human being, someone always ends up owing something.
That’s not love. That’s a bad contract with no exit clause.
Consent is not gendered. And the solution isn’t better begging — it’s a better system.
