Estes Elementary School is a kindergarten through fourth grade school in the Roberson District of Buncombe County Schools. We have a diverse population that we believe enhances the education of our students. Excellent student performance is a continual reason for pride in the Estes School community. Students from Estes go on to attend Koontz Intermediate School, Valley Springs Middle School and eventually T.C.

🌱 A huge thank you to our incredible garden volunteers for all of the time, energy, and love they've poured into the Estes Garden this summer! 💙💛

Because of their dedication, our students have had the opportunity to learn about the many benefits of gardening, explore where healthy food comes from, and even taste fresh vegetables right from the garden. These hands-on experiences help cultivate curiosity, healthy habits, and a love of learning.

Our volunteers also helped bring even more beauty to our outdoor learning space by adding a vibrant new mural that will inspire our Rams for years to come.

We're excited to officially welcome Mrs. Castro to the Estes Elementary family as our new 4th Grade Teacher! 🐏

Mrs. Castro joined us last year as a 4th Grade Instructional Assistant, and it didn't take long for her to become a beloved part of our Ram community. She loved Estes so much that she's now stepping into the classroom as one of our newest teachers!

Her dedication to students, positive spirit, and passion for learning make her a wonderful addition to our 4th grade team. We know she's going to do amazing things with her students this year.

Summer Reading Camp has been an incredible experience! 📚☀️ We are having so much fun learning, laughing, and making memories together.

One of the best parts of Reading Camp has been the opportunity for students and teachers to build new relationships across Buncombe County Schools. Our Rams have loved getting to know Mr. Kling from Haw Creek Elementary! He jumped right in, building connections with our students and becoming part of our Ram family from day one.

We are so thankful for Mr. Kling and our entire Reading Camp staff. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment to our students are making this summer an unforgettable one. Thank you for helping our readers grow while creating a fun, welcoming environment where everyone feels connected. ❤️💙💛
