DeWayne Barton is an activist and generational resident and land owner in my town of Asheville NC. He gets things done! If you are interested in supporting a significant urban project that is carefully designed to repair decades of "urban planning" harm done in Affrilachia to generations of Black residents in the Asheville area, I strongly encourage you to support the Blue Note Junction project. The Poise Project supports this project and will offer future support for the proposed health space that would be a place where Alexander technique and other health-positive modalities could be shared with the community.
