We value lifelong learning and believe that each child’s first 2,000 days are crucial.

Parenting doesn't come with a manual (though we wish it did) but it can come with support. Our Circle of Security Parenting groups offer a space to slow down, reflect, and learn new ways to respond to your child's needs with confidence and connection. Through this FREE 8-week series, caregivers explore how to better understand behaviors, strengthen relationships, and feel more supported in everyday parenting moments.

Join us for one of our upcoming sessions. Dinner and childcare are included!

Over the past month and a half, you've been introduced to the incredible educators and kids at our Shaping Buncombe partner centers who have been getting their hands dirty, literally, growing something amazing. This week we celebrated!

The Garden Celebration brought together photos, videos, and stories from across our centers, and what we saw was pure joy. Kids tending flowers and vegetables, falling in love with pollinators, holding bugs with delight instead of hesitation, and asking every single day to go check on what's growing. That kind of curiosity doesn't happen by accident. It grows, just like the gardens do.

We are so thankful for educators who show up with intention so kids have the opportunity to wonder. From learning about life cycles to composting and starting fresh, these little gardeners are building knowledge and connection that will stick with them long after the season ends.

Join us in congratulating Christine W. Avery Learning Center, Donald S. Collins Early Learning Center, Evolve Early Learning, Sprouts Early Learning Academy, His Watchmen Childcare, and west Asheville Academy for all their hardwork and dedication! And to Sow True Seed, Reems Creek Nursery, Inc., and DIRTCRAFT ORGANICS for partnering with us!
