Exciting news about an A-B Tech alumni!

Chef Ed Selle, the newly appointed executive chef of fine dining hot spot Canyon Kitchen at Lonesome Valley in Cashiers, has made a name for himself among the prestigious clubs of Western North Carolina. But it all started in his grandmother’s kitchen, where a young Selle would learn regional staples: cornmeal-fried squash or butter beans and rice, alongside servings of chicken or pork. At link below, read more about the beginnings of Selle’s career while a student at the culinary school at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College, A-B Tech and his approach to local food.
