Montford STEAM Club

Hello! Our last spring session will be held on Monday at Malvern Hills park. Tempie Avery Community Center will be closed for Memorial Day, and the weather forecast is showing a lot of scattered rain. Malvern Hills has a very large pavilion, so that’s why we’ll be meeting there instead. We’ll be doing wet-on-wet painting and building car tracks and marble runs.

Tomorrow we will be talking about the phases of the moon and carving stamps out of vegetables and other objects. It looks like it’ll be a sunny day, but if it’s raining at drop-off time, we’ll be inside the community center 😊☔️

By popular demand, we’re making slime again tomorrow! We’ll also be playing around with felting wool. There’s a slight chance of rain, so please send rain jackets. If it’s raining at 11am, we’ll do drop off in the community center ☺️☔️

Tomorrow we will be doing open-ended art creation and taking apart electronics to see what’s inside. Feel free to send your child in with some broken electronics if you have any lying around 🛠️⏰📺☎️🛠️
