Wow! Bicycle day in Asheville was incredible!!! And absolute transmission from Chris Bache that I think made each and everyone of us just a little more conscious; a stirring call to action by Bryan Hubbard, who every one of us would follow into battle at this point, and very well may be changing the face of opioid addiction across the nation (fingers crossed for Texas), the brilliant Michael Mithoepher, Dr Raymomd Turpin, , dr. Beck Ballentine, Star Bond, Ehren cruz, the Pearl psychedelic Institute and Asheville psychedelic Society. And somehow I got to be a part mix sharing a snipet on integration. Such an honor and such good work by so many!!! All at the old Jubilee / (now) third Room space… Where I spent seven years of my life being a minister! Wild serendipity.

The last three months of my life defy definition… And refused to be captured in words or images. But as I reflect this season, I’m struck by both the brilliance and pace. Starting with hurricane Helene, a sinkhole in the road and momentum of life, to a mont-long reprise in the pure refinement and blissful beauty of the ojai/Santa Barbara coast, then on to another soulfriend reunion on Maui - quickly interrupted by a family health scare with four day travel marathon back to the 10 degree monotones of Wisconsin winters. a whiplash return to Maui Mana, a 3-day boomerang back “home” into Asheville to snuggle my beloved furry baby and see a few friends, then back to wisconsin where I ended up quarantining with the flu (surprise surprise) in the basement, ending with two brilliant blue sky, sun on snow, rare and perfect winter days. Tomorrow I am off to New York for some Bob Thurman, KD, dear sisters, and 108 chalisas…to finally be spit back out into the frayed fabric of Asheville for many many weeks of grounding community and life. There is a story where Ram Dass falls into a hotel room and says “I just wanna go home.” realizing Home is wherever he is, he leaves the room, re-enters and yells out “honey, I’m home.” Maybe you can’t ever go home again, even while Home is wherever you are.
