🌟 ESTO 2026, HERE WE COME! 👋 If you’ll be there, make sure you find Sarah Benoit and say hello! We’re proud to have our Learn Tourism Lead Instructor joining destination leaders from across the country in Philadelphia for , presented by the U.S. Travel Association.

💡 Sarah will be leading...The New Shape of Destination Marketing Teams: How High-Performing Organizations Are Redesigning Talent, Structure & Accountability...a conversation about what happens inside our organizations when the work we do begins to change.

🌎 Destination organizations are taking on expanding responsibilities in destination stewardship, technology, data, community engagement, partnerships, visitor experience, workforce development, and measurable impact. That evolution creates an important leadership question: Are our organizational structures evolving, too?

🔍 Sarah will help attendees examine how roles, responsibilities, reporting relationships, skills, and accountability can evolve as organizational priorities change.

🤝 But this won’t be an hour of sitting and listening! Attendees will learn from a real destination example, share experiences with their peers, evaluate opportunities within their own organizations, and discuss the realities and tradeoffs involved in organizational change.

🙏 At Learn Tourism, we believe the most valuable learning doesn’t end when the session does. It gives people the confidence, language, and tools they need to take the next step. See you there!

✈️ 🚆 🚙 What travel experience shaped who you are today?
At Learn Tourism, we’re a team of nerds with a passion for learning, and we know some of life’s most important lessons happen when we leave what’s familiar, explore new places and cultures, and connect with people whose lives may look different from our own. And those experiences don’t have to take us far from home. 💗 Sometimes the most meaningful discoveries happen right in our own communities.

💬 So we're curious: What trip, field trip, family vacation, local adventure, or travel experience had the biggest impact on you when you were young? Give a shout-out to the place in the comments. We’d love to hear your story!

🌎 Stories like these are one of the reasons we're honored to work with the SYTA: Student and Youth Travel Association . Their work helps young people gain a greater understanding of the world through travel while supporting the professionals who make those experiences possible through education, advocacy, training, networking, and a strong commitment to safety.

💡 We believe travel can build curiosity, confidence, empathy, independence, and a deeper understanding of our shared world. That makes the work of SYTA, and everyone creating meaningful travel experiences for young people, pretty special.

🎉 This weekend, the SYTA community is coming together in Pittsburgh for the 2026 SYTA Annual Conference to connect, learn, and grow, and we're delighted to be part of the event. 🙏 A big thank you to their whole team for the opportunity and to Visit Pittsburgh for welcoming this incredible community!

🌟 SPECIAL ALERT 🌟 This week we're delighted to share that Learn Tourism Lead Instructor Sarah Benoit is speaking at ESTO 2026 in Philadelphia, presented by the U.S. Travel Association. 👋 Make sure if you see Sarah, you say hello and introduce yourself!

💡 She'll be leading...The New Shape of Destination Marketing Teams: How High-Performing Organizations Are Redesigning Talent, Structure & Accountability...It’s a timely and different conversation for destination leaders.

🌎 As DMOs and CVBs take on expanding responsibilities in technology, data, destination stewardship, community engagement, partnerships, visitor experience, and measurable impact, the structures supporting that work must evolve, too.

🎤 Sarah’s session will move beyond organizational theory to examine how destination organizations are actually responding.

✍️ Attendees will explore real organizational changes, including a before-and-after example, discuss evolving roles and responsibilities with their peers, and develop an action plan they can take back to their own leadership teams.

🙏 At Learn Tourism, we believe learning should help people confidently navigate change, not simply understand it. We’re honored to be part of this important conversation at ESTO 2026.

✈️ SYTA: Student and Youth Travel Association, our Lead Instructor Sarah Benoit is coming your way — and she’s bringing TWO conversations we can’t wait to share with you!

This week, Sarah is headed to the SYTA Annual Conference, where she’ll be speaking twice about two subjects at the heart of what we do at Learn Tourism:
🔸 1. how we navigate constant digital change, and
🔸 2. how we make sure we stay deeply human while doing it.

Don't miss her sessions on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.

📱 FRIDAY, AUGUST 21 | 3:30–4:30 PM
Social Media Trends 2026: What to Start, Stop, & Keep
Sarah will cut through the noise and explore what’s actually changing in 2026, what’s gaining momentum, what’s quietly losing impact, and what tourism professionals should absolutely keep doing.

Then on Saturday, she’s zooming out.
🌎 SATURDAY, AUGUST 22 | 10:00–11:00 AM
The Human Future of Tourism: Everything is Marketing, Everything is Technology
Sarah will explore storytelling, emotional intelligence, curiosity, education, and innovation — and why the future of tourism belongs to people who can embrace technology without losing sight of the humans on the other side of it.

👋 If you’re attending SYTA, say hello! Just look for her cool hat! She'd love to see familiar faces, meet new people, learn what’s happening across the student travel community, and have some smart conversations about where our industry goes next.
See you at ! 👀
