A Special Afternoon at Haw Creek 💚

Join us Friday, September 4 for a special afternoon with our Haw Creek community!

We’ll begin with a Buddy Bench dedication in memory of Micah, forever part of our Haw Creek family. 💚

Then stick around for our PTA Social with Kona Ice! 🍧 Come meet other HCE families and teachers, enjoy a sweet treat, and kick off the school year together.

Each HCE student and staff member will receive one free Kona Ice!

💚🍔 HAW CREEK PTA RESTAURANT NIGHT! 🍔💚

School starts Monday, and what better way to kick off the first week than with dinner out?! 🎉

Join us at Creekside Taphouse on Wednesday, August 26, from 3–9 PM for our first restaurant night of the school year!

This is a special joint restaurant night supporting Haw Creek Elementary and AC Reynolds Middle & High School. 💚

The Car Rider Rock and Bus Boulders are available to reserve for the 2026–27 school year!

🌽💚 Final Restaurant Night of the Year! 💚🌽

Join us tomorrow at La Rumba Restaurant Latino for a delicious night of community and culture! They specialize in authentic Southern Mexican flavors from the Veracruz region—fresh, bright, and full of flavor.

Today was a latte fun at Haw Creek Elementary! ☕💚💛

Our teachers and staff were treated to delicious cinnamon rolls from Gogos Cinnamon Rolls and specialty drinks from the Runaway Cafe truck as part of Teacher Appreciation Week! 🎶

From early mornings to late afternoons, our staff pours so much love, energy, and dedication into our students every single day. Thank you for all you do to make Haw Creek such a special place.

🎶 Teachers Hit All the Right Notes! 🎶

Next week (May 4–May 😎 is Teacher Appreciation Week at Haw Creek Elementary, and we are so excited to celebrate our amazing teachers and staff! 💚

We have a fun, music-inspired week planned, and we’d love your help in making it extra special:

🌸 Monday: Students will receive a flower to give to a teacher—by the start of the day, our teachers will have beautiful bouquets!

🕶️ Tuesday: “Our Future is So Bright!” PTA is providing cool shades for staff + Sunshine Sammie treats from Brookstone Church!

☕ Wednesday: “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go!” Cinnamon rolls from Go-Go’s Bakery + Runaway Cafe Coffee Truck. You can purchase a coffee for a teacher or staff member and include a sweet note (see link for details!).

🌈 Thursday: A rainbow of treats will be set up in the teacher workroom—parent donations are appreciated! (Check the link below to sign up.)

🍗 Friday: “Finally Friday!” Lunch from Chick-fil-A will be provided in the teacher workroom from 10:30 AM–1:00 PM.

💛 Thank you for helping us show our teachers just how much they mean to our school community!
