Last week we wrapped up our last week of classes, finished our last afternoon activities, took down all the work from the walls that we’ve spent the year creating, and took our final exams. Now it’s time to prepare for graduation, moving up ceremonies and the talent show.

Soccer season has started with a 2-1 win! This is the first time in TNCA soccer history that we have beaten Franklin School of Innovation. We are small in stature, young in age and few in numbers. But we have heart and we played together, relying on each and every one of our teammates. The thing about the Hospitality League is that it is designed with the intention of making team sports available to everyone, regardless of skill or access to extra practices. Kids who have never walked on a field or put on a jersey get to have as much ownership of the game as the ones who play on travel teams and year round leagues. They learn to lead and the step out of their comfort zone. We are so proud of this young group of kids!
