Graciela and I are safe and sound! Our house suffered no damage save some downed trees and we have reserve food and water for now. And family sending donations to us and others in need. We’re situated in East Asheville up 2200 ft elevation just after the French Broad River devastation in downtown Asheville and the River Arts District and just before you reach Swannanoa (River of the same name) to the East which suffered devastating mudslides and flooding.
Now that communications are restored, we’ll figure out the best way to join the efforts to help where we can. So many blessings to be grateful for and many more prayers for those who’ve lost loved ones, their homes, businesses and livelihoods. If you’re in Asheville or surrounding areas, Please reach out if you need anything!

Well, it's about time! I must admit, I was a little derailed by some bumps in the road in 2023; but nevertheless patiently waiting for/manifesting some changes that needed to happen.
Changes that would circle me Back to the Music!

My bluegrass guitar picking goals were redirected/postponed due to a broken wrist (and tailbone!) but I've picked up the pieces and have dedicated my grateful attention to a new musical endeavor! We play some favorite country/bluegrassy/folk covers but I'll be playing mostly originals. :) I'm so very excited to share this with all y'all!

We have several gigs on the schedule but I invite you to please come out and help support this new musical collaboration at our debut show (at the Grey Eagle Patio stage) on Oct 5th!

Asheville True Voice is Bringing in the Spring with another "Sing Club" Vocal Performance workshop at Experience Music Studios in downtown Asheville, NC!
Asheville's local Dan Newsom will lend his crazy-good skills on the keys and his extensive professorship of music in the workshop.

Getting up on stage and singing solo for the first time is often horrifying for some; if you are put in an environment where you and your peers are being courageous together (singing songs you love to sing!) it makes all the difference.
Or maybe you'd like to participate in the workshops as a performing professional who just needs to hone your live performance skills!

If you are interested in taking voice lessons and participating in workshops (sometimes full band performances!) and/or just accessing your true, genuine, magical voice, please give us a call! We'd love to have you in our circle of music love!

If you haven't been out to White Horse Black Mountain music venue, put it on your list! I have thoroughly enjoyed the musical events here. This past Monday featured 'Jay Brown and Local Live', hosting local songwriter Beth Lee (love Jay's and Beth's songs!). White Horse is a great music venue that showcases local up-and-coming artists to internationally known musicians crossing many genres. It's wonderful to have a venue that is dedicated to artists' connection with the audience and community and in such a wonderful listening room!

Calling all Asheville Musicians!
We're ready to carry the True Voice Lessons Performance Classes to Asheville, NC! Please put out the word for a keyboard player extraordinaire who would enjoy working with/mentoring vocal students in a performance class environment. Auditions required.
Qualifications as follows:
Professional keys player needed for established Vocal Performance program
- Professional experience playing with/leading full bands and vocalists across multiple genres
- Enthusiastic mentor to beginner and professional vocalists and songwriters in a performance classroom environment
- Excellent sight reading/play-by-ear skills
- Able to transpose and/or rewrite charts easily
- Available once a month (and occasional one-on-one sessions) for scheduled student performance classes in a professional studio
- Able to lead a Full Band for student shows in local public venues
- Songwriting/Arranging skills a plus
- Harmony vocals a plus
- Professional rates
