A BEAUTIFUL JUNE AFTERNOON IN THE HIGH COUNTRY
That view never gets old.
This screenshot was captured at 5:44 PM Thursday from the we**am at Caldwell Community College and Technical Instituteβ and it's a reminder of just how spectacular this part of North Carolina is on a clear summer day.
The Blue Ridge rises in the background, layered and green against a partly cloudy sky with classic summer cumulus building along the ridgeline. The valleys below are fully leafed out in deep June green β as lush as this region gets all year.
