Filmmaking is a complex artistic process involving multiple steps, skills, and talented people. Our goal is to introduce the process and develop skills by providing high quality education coupled with ample practical experience. We are lucky to have a growing film industry in the Southeast and hope to provide a foundation for interested youth and second career students to develop their passion of filmmaking. Located in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, the Asheville School of Film is the ideal place for locals and those seeking a supportive community to learn filmmaking, or to hone certain areas of the filmmaking craft.
