We had a special visitor on our first day back to school since Hurricane Helene hit our beautiful mountains. WLOS was here showing the Odyssey way to embrace this new challenge as a community. Check it out. 👀

Good Evening Odyssey Families,

School starts back 10/23/2024

Our community is facing some difficult challenges in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. From damaged homes to disrupted routines, the impact has been felt by all of us. Yet, even in these trying times, we’ve seen incredible strength, kindness, and support from our students, families, and staff. 

We know the road ahead isn’t easy. Some of us are rebuilding, others are recovering, and many are still processing the challenges we face. But as a school, we are committed to standing by our community—providing a safe space, resources, and support for every student and family affected.

Together, we will navigate these tough times. We’ll continue to be a source of strength, resilience, and hope for each other. We may be facing challenges, but with unity and perseverance, we will overcome. 

If you need assistance or know someone who does, please reach out. We’re here for you.
