Today's MENO Moment is brought to you by the letter N.

N is for "Neck Headphone Thingies".

Also known as... a stethoscope.

I was talking with my husband and trying to describe something. I knew exactly what it was. I could see it in my mind.

Could I find the actual word? Nope. Lost in my overcrowded hard drive.

So what came out was: "Neck headphone thingy." He knew what I meant, shouldn't I at least get partial credit?

Menopause: When you find yourself describing the thing because the word itself has gotten lost like an index card in the library card catalog (Gen X knows what I'm talking about). Sometimes the word comes back in 10 seconds, sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes not until 3 a.m. when you suddenly sit straight up in bed and shout it out loud, startling anyone who is in the room.

What's the funniest substitute word or phrase your brain has come up with lately?

I learned so many amazing things, met so many amazing people and reconnected with other incredible hypnotists at the IACT/IMDHA conferences last week! So much to share with you as soon as I have got some of it "marinated" into my own brain!

Meanwhile, in a spare moment, I grabbed a couple new "resistance" tea cups. Grogu and my Yogi tea advise: "Never regret your mistakes. Admire the courage it took to attempt the unknown."

Look what I did! I created a QR code so you can easily register for my FREE Friday, March 13, 2026 webinar "We're Done Calling This Normal" A real conversation about midlife, hormones, identity: and why ignoring it or just pushing through isn’t working.
