Our third annual end-of-the-year Block Party was the best one yet! We had so much fun with our students and families. Thanks to our wonderful SFO, our partner school Mountain City Public Montessori, and all our community sponsors!

Our first annual Spring Plant Sale fundraiser was a wonderful success! Thanks to our School-Family Organization for coordinating everything, and to First Step Farm WNC for providing such lovely plants!

Spring has arrived, and our classrooms are blooming right along with it. 🌼🌿

Flower arranging is a beloved work in our Montessori environment, especially this time of year. With small vases and careful hands, children are invited to create their own arrangements, choosing colors, trimming stems, pouring water, and placing each flower with intention.

This work supports fine motor development, concentration, independence, and a deep appreciation for nature. Each arrangement is a reflection of the child’s creativity and care, bringing a little piece of spring indoors for all to enjoy! 🌸

Happy Valentine's Day! Our students celebrated with fruit salad and homemade hearts for their friends, including this big one for the entire Opossums classroom!
