Our annual Ice Cream social was one for the books! We also incorporated a scavenger hunt this year centered around our talented art scholars. Thank you to all who attended and to all that made it happen! Special shout out to Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry and The Hop Ice Cream ✨🫶✨

This Thursday, Sept. 24th is our Annual Ice Cream Social ✨🍦✨ We hope to see our entire Hive there 🐝

We are planning a special evening to showcase our curriculum, the learning happening in classrooms, and the arts integration work our scholars have been engaged in during the first month of school. 🏫

Huge thanks to Blue Ridge Pediatric Dentistry and The Hop Ice Cream for your support 🫶

📣Hey Asheville, mark those calendars!!

Join FACS and ACSF for an Asheville City Schools School Board Candidate Forum on Wednesday, September 23, from 5:30–7:00 PM at the Asheville High School Auditorium.

With 4 open seats and 6 candidates running, this is an important opportunity to hear directly from the people who want to help shape the future of Asheville City Schools.

Come listen. Get informed. And remember, democracy is not a spectator sport! 🗳️

✨ Childcare will be provided.

Whether you’re a parent, student, educator, grandparent, neighbor, or community member, your voice matters. Let’s come together to learn more about the candidates and the issues that matter to our schools.

Questions for the candidates? Scan the QR code on the flyer OR click the link in our bio to submit yours in advance.

❤️💪 Put your values into action by celebrating & defending our public schools by showing up to the forum and the ballot box! It truly takes all of us!
