Spring Fling was Epic! A dedicated group of FTO volunteers wanted to try out a new spring social format, and worked hard for months to make this community social event happen. It’s safe to say that it was a hit — we sold over 700 tickets and had even more attendees.

No May FTO meeting! Instead of a regular meeting this month, the board is meeting this month to start planning for next year. We WANT and NEED volunteers to join next year’s teams for Glow Run, Book Fair, Staff Mini-Grants, Staff Appreciation, and more! FTO is a great way to connect with other families and give back to your community. Reach out to [email protected] for information.

Thanks to the folks who came out to a quick and dirty Grounds Day this morning! We checked off a few lovely projects, and got some new plants in riiight before the rain!
(Also—how beautiful is our new tile sign? It was created by After School Arts kids in the Tile Muralists class, led by Claxton parent/FTO volunteer extraordinaire Ashley Gray. It’s amazing!! 🤩)

We’re excited to welcome our Scholastic Book Fair to the Hive from April 24–30! This is a wonderful opportunity for students to discover new books, build their love of reading, and support our school library.
Don’t want to send cash or a credit card with your child? The Claxton FTO has you covered! You can purchase a Book Fair Gift Certificate for your student at claxtonfamilies.com - they will be delivered to your students at school!
