We are excited to be partnering with WLOS ABC 13 to be telling the Leadership Asheville story. Over the next several weeks and months we will be showcasing different aspects of our programs. WLOS has been a joy to work with and we are grateful for their support!

One of the goals of Leadership Asheville is to continuously improve. We do that by reviewing our programs and ensuring they are meeting the needs of our participants. This summer, we are happy to have David Ford interning in our office! David is a graduate student in East Carolina University’s Master of Arts in Adult Education program, with a focus on workplace training and development.

David's work is focused on program evaluation and his ongoing projects include developing a statistically sound, quantitative tool for measuring skill development outcomes for our participants.

Outside of work and school, David enjoys exploring the hiking trails of Western North Carolina. He lives in Waynesville with his partner and their collection of pets, including a black cat, two rats, a red-footed tortoise, and a small fish tank.
