Kids Yoga AVL

Lots of playin’ around today🥰 i love watching them get creative, laugh, and just have fun together!😍

If I had to describe kids yoga in just one word it would be..play🥰 all ages love to play, even if they won’t admit it! From heart stacking, to the floor is lava, to making valentines..we had the best classes today with the sweetest kids.❤️

These are my favorite books to use for kids yoga! They have so much fun helping to create poses for the different things she swallows. When we put it all together we have a fun yoga flow and we’re retelling the story.. It’s a win-win for teachers and students🙌

Today’s theme was “I can do hard things”😍 They loved challenging themselves on the balance beam and balancing cups always adds an extra element of fun!

We had the best time in our first yoga class of the new school year! Cup stacking and pom poms for the win..teamwork, mindfulness, concentration, and hand-eye coordination🙌 I don’t always get pictures of the kids doing yoga poses in class because I’m usually moving my body right along with them!😅

Last classes before summer break happening this Saturday, June 4th! From quiet mindful play time to the floor is lava.. we have ALL the fun in kids yoga!😍

I still have room in my classes this Saturday for kids pre-k thru 5th grade!🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️ We sure do have fun.. and we’re learning a whole lot about our bodies and how to calm our minds. Could your kiddo use some self-regulation skills??
