Bryan Kraak is a musician, educator, and conductor based in the Asheville area. Bryan Kraak grew up in Black Mountain, NC.
In 2012 Bryan moved to Chicago, where he later obtained his Bachelors of Music from DePaul University, studying with members of the Chicago Lyric Opera Orchestra and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. After his time at DePaul, Bryan attended the Eastman School of Music where he graduated with a Masters of Music in Performance and Literature. Bryan has been a professor at Montreat College since 2019,

Greetings Friends! While this year has been on the quiet side, musically. I have some very exciting news. I have accepted a position at the Academy for the Arts as the trumpet instructor! I am incredibly excited to begin teaching at this incredible place, and to work with the many fine musicians at this school!
Trumpet Faculty at AFTA The instructional faculty at AFTA are all experienced and accomplished music instructors, bringing a wealth of knowledge from their musical disciplines.
