If you happen to catch Michael Bublé in concert on his current tour, wave to these fine fellas in his band. They're all Spartans and alumni of our jazz program, adding saxophone and holding down three quarters of the trombone section. It was a blast being on this mini-run to the coast with Empire Strikes Brass! Looking forward to playing with them some more next week.

Congrats to my students Jordin Owenby and Ayden Colon for their great work recently - both made All-State Honors band! Also notable is Zoe Love, who came very close as a freshman. Lots of great things happening in WNC band programs!

Had a blast teaching some lessons at Asheville High and Asheville Middle today! The band directors there know what they’re about. Looking forward to spending some time with the students at Reynolds High and Middle tomorrow!
