Charles W. McCrary Elementary School serves kindergarten through fifth grade students. As an affiliate of Asheboro City Schools, the Charles W.

Hate speech,
Profanity, obscenity, or vulgarity,
Nudity in profile pictures,
Defamation to a person or people,
Name calling, harassing, cyber bullying, stalking, or or personal attacks,
Comments whose main purpose are to sell a product,
Comments that infringe on copyrights,
Protected, confidential, or personally identifiable information,
Spam comments, such as the same comment posted repeatedly on a profile.

•Stay on topic. This is a page dedicated to the education of students of ACS. Please keep the conversation related to our district, schools, and activities. Comments of all kinds are welcome so long as they directly relate to our district, schools, and activities.

•Have a question for a specific employee? Contact them privately. Followers should not expect responses to every question or comment posted on this page.

•Be aware of the mission. The mission of ACS is education. Please be certain that your comments and posts are appropriate for an educational environment and individuals of all ages.

•Be factual. Blatantly inaccurate information will not be allowed. False information will be removed.

•Employees of ACS may have personal pages. Don’t be surprised or offended if your request to “friend” them is ignored. District policy encourages staff to keep their personal lives personal.

•This page is yours and we want you to feel comfortable sharing your views about ACS, schools, or activities. However, abuse of the above guidelines can lead to removal of a specific posting or the blocking/removal from our page.

We are McCrary!

McCrary was filled with smiles and community as families enjoyed an Art Show from Mrs. Leach and her students, UNITE Club drumming and singing, inflatables, games, the cake walk, SPARK Lab activities, food trucks, face painting, & piñatas!

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, performed, and helped make this event such a success. We are grateful for our amazing McCrary families and community! WE ARE McCrary!

Families from all Asheboro City Schools are invited to join us for a FREE evening of reading, games, crafts, sports activities, prizes, and community fun!

🗓 Friday, May 29th
⏰ 5:00–8:00 PM
📍 Asheboro High School Football Field

Children will have the opportunity to participate in fun activities, earn tickets for prizes, enjoy sports stations led by Asheboro High School athletes, and take home FREE books to kick off summer reading!

There will be something for everyone, including:
⚽ Sports activities
🎯 Fair-style games
🎨 Crafts & face painting
📖 Reading activities
🎟 Prizes & giveaways
📚 Free books

Bring a blanket, enjoy a snack, and spend the evening with family and friends while celebrating reading and community together. Everyone is welcome — we hope to see you there!

Check out these summer opportunities at the GIC!

We are very excited to offer six 1/2 day summer camp opportunities at the GIC! Please use the QR code on the flyer or at the link in the comments to register your child.

The cost of each camp for ACS students is $20 and $40 for non-ACS students (except Minecraft Challenge and the cost is $15 and $30). There are a limited number of scholarships for each session available to ACS students only. Space is limited so register soon!
