🎥 Thank you, PBS North Carolina, for visiting Randolph Community College and Randolph County to capture stories for the upcoming ncIMPACT series.
During their visit, David Hurst and the PBS NC team interviewed RCC President/CEO Dr. Shah Ardalan; Randolph Industrial Maintenance Technician (IMT) Apprenticeship students; Philip Parpard, Project Manager, Customized Training Project for Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina; and Randolph County Commissioners Chair Darrell Frye.
The team also visited Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina in Liberty, where additional interviews highlighted the partnerships helping prepare the next generation of skilled workers.
We're grateful to PBS North Carolina for shining a spotlight on the innovative work taking place across Randolph County and for helping tell the story of how education, industry, and community leaders are working together to strengthen North Carolina's workforce.
We look forward to seeing the finished ncIMPACT program!

🎨 Big ideas start on day one.
Graphic Design students at Randolph Community College kicked off the Summer Semester with an exciting real-world opportunity: helping the Asheboro/Randolph Chamber reimagine its brand identity.
Today, Asheboro/Randolph Chamber President and CEO Adam Deathe and incoming Chair Beverly Mooney visited class to introduce the project, share the Chamber’s mission, and challenge students to think creatively about the future of the organization’s visual brand.
Hands-on experiences like this give RCC students the opportunity to work with community partners, build professional portfolios, and apply their creativity in meaningful ways from the very first day of class. 💙🧡
