This is a seriously fun job, ideal for an outgoing, fun-loving high school or college student. You will lead kids ages 4-11 through our fun, hands-on birthday parties. Duties may include leading or assisting in the hands-on experiments and serving refreshments in the party room.
Must be willing to work one shift at least every other weekend. Shifts are typically Saturdays 10am-2:30pm and 2:30pm-8pm, and Sundays 12pm-6pm.
Responsibilities. C-Zone party staff are responsible for assisting in our kid-sized science laboratory by:
Entertaining kids.
Leading kids through science experiments.
Setting up and straightening up the lab.
Setting up and straightening up the party room.
Minimum Job Qualifications. C-Zone party staff must:
High energy and outgoing.
Have experience working with children.
Be highly intelligent.
Have a passion for science and creative thinking.
Maintain a neat and clean appearance.
Speak clear English; second-language skills are a plus.
Have basic computer skills.
Be a team player.
Be physically able to perform classroom demonstrations and activities effectively and safely.
Be physically and psychologically able to maintain a safe, orderly environment with large groups of young children in a highly active setting.
Consent to and pass a criminal and health background check for working with children.
Be at least 16 years of age.
Be drug-free.
