This week has been filled with controversy, and honestly, it got me thinking about how the CrossFit marketing team could’ve approached things differently. 😂

Just imagine if Sydney Sweeney did an ad for Scaled Athlete…

I’m sure y’all would suddenly be scaling workouts more! 🤣

And hey, it would probably bring some new eyes to the CrossFit space too. 👀

Okay, before you get me in the comments 😂.
I’m NOT saying she’s what female athletes are supposed to look like, or that she represents what women in sports should be.

What I’m saying is the brand that hired her knows exactly what they’re doing. They put someone in an ad that clearly got people talking, sharing, arguing, and ultimately… looking at the product.

And FYI, it’s a sports betting app. So the goal isn’t really to promote the sport itself.

Whether you liked the ad or hated it is a different conversation… I’m talking about the marketing strategy.

Bad rep is still rep.

They wanted eyes on them.

And they got them. 😂👀
