Abhinaya Tharangini Students had a wonderful experience participating in the Fiesta Asia Street Fair 2023 - Cultural Events on May 20th.

Fiesta Asia is hosted by Asia Heritage Foundation to celebrate the Asian Heritage month annually in May. This month long celebration aims to commemorate the rich and diverse heritage of America’s Asian community.

Since 2006, Fiesta Asia has been offering a unique and unforgettable experience every year through an exciting array of programs & activities including street fairs, movie fest, performing arts showcase, art exhibits, fashion program, tasting extravaganza, musical concerts and many more with our programming partners throughout the month of May.

Abhinaya Tharangini Academy @ IDEA's Biennial Dance Festival 2023 - Silverscreen 75 in collaboration with the Embassy of India, DC at Olney Theater Center, MD on May 13th past weekend.

Embassy representatives including Madam DCM Sripriya Ranganathan graced the event in support of IDEA Festival.

Abhinaya Tharangini is proud to be a part of "Abhinaya Sandhya" showcase presented by IDEA (Indian Dance Educators Association) in association with the Embassy of India. Director Krishnaveni, will be presenting Abhinaya in Kuchipudi.

Abhinaya Tharangini - Offering Nritya Seva to Lord Shiva, on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri on Feb 18th at SSVT, MD. Performances from 40+ local dance schools begin at 3:30pm.

February 4, 2023 - Bhakti Movement
The Bhakti Movement reached its height between the 15th to 17th Centuries. This was the reform movement that put devotion and poetry to reach God above all ritualistic and religious practices. The movement has traditionally been considered an influential social reformation in Hinduism in that it provided an individual-focused alternative path to spirituality regardless of one's birth or gender.

Please join us to get immersed in the abhinaya of beautiful compositions of Goswami Tulasidas, Vyasatirtha, Surdas, Tukaram, and Tyagaraja.

With God’s grace and the blessings of my parents and gurus, Abhinaya Tharangini Academy presented its second Kuchipudi Rangapravesham on Aug 6, 2022. Trisha gave a spectacular performance and made me and her parents, very proud! Trisha holds a Senior Certificate in Kuchipudi Dance from SAMPADA and is currently pursuing a Diploma in Kuchipudi Dance at UofSA (University of Silicon Andhra, CA), along with studying Nursing at VCU, VA. Loads of best wishes to her!
