Broad Run Crew enjoyed a wonderful end of season banquet last night! 🎉

We reviewed our season’s highlights, congratulated our rowers with varsity letters, crew pins, and awards, and thanked our coaches. We also celebrated our 13 seniors 🎓 graduating this year - we will miss them dearly!

We also want to say thank you to our parent run board and other parents and families who tirelessly volunteered for all that it takes to make our crew amazing!! Thank you all for your support - we could not do it without you! ❤️

The Broad Run Crew Men’s JR-4 boat rowed against some steep competition at Nationals on Friday. They rowed well despite some unexpected obstacles, placed 5th in their heat, and 19th overall in the country in their category! We’re so proud of their commitment and performance, and our team as a whole this season! 🚣🏼

Many thanks to our coaches for their dedication and expertise, the seniors on our team who came out to support us, and, of course, our families who make it all possible! We couldn’t do this without you! ❤️

Broad Run Crew’s M JR-4 boat is headed to New Jersey tomorrow for the SRAA Nationals Championship Regatta! Go Broad Run Crew! 🎉 Row hard and row fast! 🚣🏼

🚣🏼Broad Run Crew🚣🏽‍♂️ raced well at the 97th Stotesbury Cup Regatta in Philadelphia last weekend! Our boats did not move onto the finals, but we placed well in our time trials. This was a first experience for some and the last at a high school regatta for others, and our crew worked hard, rowed hard and supported each other along the way!

A big shout out to our coaches and parents for making it all possible! ❤️ Go Broad Run Crew! 🎉

Broad Run Crew is heading to Philadelphia tomorrow for the 🚣🏼 97th Stotesbury Cup Regatta 🚣🏽‍♂️, one of the largest high school regattas in the world with over 4,500 competitors! 🏆🎉🏅Go Broad Run Crew!

🚣🏼 Broad Run Crew 🚣🏽‍♂️ had another amazing day! This time with 5 of our boats competing at the VSRC Day 2 of States (state championships) on Saturday, May 11 at Sandy Run Regional Park in Occoquan, VA. 🎉

We had an excellent start to the day with 4 out of 5 boats advancing to their category’s final or semi-final. The 5th boat had an impressive row barely missing the final by .6 seconds!

Final results included 1 boat in 5th place, 1 in 4th place, and 1 in 3rd place bringing home a bronze medal 🥉and earning a place in the SRAA National Championships in NJ on May 24 & 25! Go Broad Run Crew!

Three of our boats competed at Day 1 of the States VSRC regatta at Occoquan yesterday, and two brought home bronze medals!🥉🎉 🥉 Woo hoo! Congratulations to our team!

Despite the chilly 🥶 and wet 🌧️ weather, our crew had a great day at the Al Urquia regatta in Occoquan yesterday! Many boats placed in their heats and went onto finals, and one came home with 1st place ribbons! 🏆Great job, Broad Run Crew! 🎉

Our crew had an AMAZING day at the Ryz Obuchowicz regatta in Occoquan yesterday! We had 8 4+ boats on the water and many placed in their heats and final races, and came home with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons! Great job, Broad Run Crew! 🎉
