I met a young teenager who was paralyzed and wheelchair-bound for life because when she was a baby, her mother reached back while driving and caused a collision which led to this sad outcome. And we can only speculate how many fatalities too are caused by drivers having reached back for any number of reasons. Please *never* do this.
