Meet Madelyn Ward, a 10th grade student whose heart for leadership, worship, and serving others is making an impact all across VAA. 🧡

From leading in chapel and student life to serving as an ambassador, interning with Mr. Forest, and competing in varsity soccer, Madelyn has stepped into so many opportunities to lead with purpose this year.

Her goal is simple but meaningful: bring others to the Lord and be a good leader. Grounded in Matthew 6:30 and surrounded by a community she loves for how relational it is, Madelyn is a great example of what it looks like to use your gifts to serve others.

Today, our VAA family pauses to remember September 11, 2001.

We honor the lives lost, the courage of first responders, and the countless acts of bravery and sacrifice shown in the midst of tragedy.

As we remember, we pray for the families who still carry the weight of that day and for our students to grow into people marked by courage, compassion, service, and faith.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
