Can’t stop, won’t stop! ⏰ 🔥
A fire alarm at the office moved our weekly staff meeting outside.
This team is thankful to have office space at the Loudoun County Public Schools administration building, where we get to work alongside passionate education leaders.
We are also thankful this was a false alarm.

A big shout out to May's SHINE award winner Josue Ramirez, a Spanish teacher at Seneca Ridge Middle School.
A Seneca Ridge parent captured what makes Mr. Ramirez great: "Mr. Ramirez is more than a teacher—he’s a mentor and a guiding force for his students. With compassion and encouragement, he inspires them to dream big, believe in themselves, and pursue their future with confidence."
Thank you to our May SHINE sponsors; the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties provided each Loudoun Chamber Leadership Award winner with $1,000 to be given to a nonprofit of their choice.
Thank you, Sharon Wright, President and Owner of & Clear Marketing, for choosing LEF!

We love scholarship season!
Today LEF got to surprise Sugarland Elementary Teacher's Assistant Ashley Horvath with a $5,000 Claude Moore Teacher Scholarship check.
Ms. Horvath is one of five LCPS educators who won the scholarship, funded by the Moore Charitable Foundation.
Each of the recipients is pursuing teaching certificates in a critical shortage area, such as special education.
Congrats!

Yesterday, LEF’s Executive Director, Danielle Nadler, joined six other distinguished women as they were inducted into the Loudoun Coalition on Women and Girls’ Hall of Fame.
“Each of these women represents the best of Loudoun County — visionaries, advocates, and change makers who have uplifted those around them while building stronger systems for the next generation. Their collective achievements are inspiring, and it is our honor to shine a light on their stories through the Hall of Fame,” said LCWAG Board Chair Stacey Metcalfe.
