Loudoun Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to engaging our community to invest in critical and innovative programs that foster the success and well-being of LCPS students and teachers. The Loudoun Education Foundation focuses on making connections with individuals, organizations and local businesses interested in supporting educational programs within Loudoun County Public Schools and identying the programs that need funding. The focus is on identifying and supporting programs that will enhance the educational experience our children receive during their time in our schools and investing in our teachers and administrators as they seek a higher level of educational excellence. Recognition and rewards are a critical component of achieving excellence and as such one of the Foundation’s key roles is to celebrate those individuals when they achieve such success.

The LEF Golf Classic raises funds for LEF's mission, helping us fund programs that bring new experiences and needed services to 77,000 LCPS students.

The Loudoun Education Foundation is excited to recognize LCPS Project Manager Tim Bowers as our September SHINE (Spotlighting Heroes In Education) Award recipient!

Nominated by Robert Carter, Principal of Banneker Elementary School, Tim was recognized for his exceptional leadership and commitment during the Banneker Elementary School addition and renovation project.

From providing safety equipment and guidance to patiently answering questions and translating complex construction details into everyday language, Tim helped build excitement and confidence among staff for the future of their school. His dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for the Banneker community have made a lasting impact.

Congratulations, Tim! Thank you for helping create a positive experience for staff, students, and families as this exciting project moves forward.
