We're asking that at least 2 parents from each class volunteer to decorate their child's teacher's classroom door. We're also seeking volunteers to decorate the specialists' doors. Resource teachers are assigned to a grade so ideally, a parent from that grade will volunteer for the Resource specialist.
If your class already has volunteers, please consider decorating a specialist's door or one of the teachers without a volunteer (which is noted on the sign-up). If volunteers do not sign up, Care and Share will provide generic posters to cover the doors that do not have volunteers so that all doors are decorated in some fashion.
Use the link below to sign-up as a volunteer.

Make your input known!
Every year, Hillside asks for parent input regarding the class placement of students who are returning to Hillside for the upcoming school year. Teachers and administrators meet near the end of each school year to develop tentative class lists based upon available information in each child’s academic record and teacher input about each student’s learning needs. Developing class lists aims to create cohesive cohorts of students at every grade level who can function and learn together in a positive classroom environment. We try to create a balance of race, gender, and academic needs in each class where students are with peers with whom they can collaboratively learn together.
See Mr Mill's emails for the survey link or click here. The survey closes April 30.
