COSMIC BOWLING UPDATE -WAITLIST and PIZZA DEADLINE TONIGHT!

Hello CCE Families,

All time slots & lanes are currently sold out! The 5:30 time slot sold out in less than 3 minutes, so we know there are more families wanting to join us! We want to include as many families as possible, so we are going to have a waitlist for anyone still interested in a time slot. Student illness or other schedule changes happen, so if we have any cancellations we will contact you. We had cancellations the day of last year, so it is possible. If you'd like to be on the waitlist, please email [email protected] with your name, cell number, and the time slot(s) that work for you.

Large cheese pizzas are still available to pre-order from Papa Johns. Even if you’re not bowling, you can join us for dinner in the cafeteria with your family. You can purchase a pizza by clicking on the event link below by TONIGHT, 1/15 at 11:59 PM. Pizza will be available AFTER 6:00pm in the cafeteria on Friday. We are also selling chips, candy and drinks after 6 in the cafeteria.

If you pre-purchased a lane, look for an email from us this week with more info and helpful tips. Get your neon clothes ready to glow! And keep in mind that you must check in with our volunteers outside of the gym 10 minutes prior to your time slot.

FRIDAY night- 1/17 Cosmic Bowling 2025

👟Help keep our C**ts safe when they have PE! 🐴

Proper footwear is important for the safety of all students during physical activities.

Students who do not wear appropriate PE shoes will not be able to participate in our activities, and this may also impact their behavior grade.

COSMIC BOWLING TICKET SALES OPEN MONDAY NIGHT at 8:30!!
Join us on Friday, Jan 17th for the second annual Cosmic Bowling Family Night brought to you by the CCE PE Team and CCE PTA 5th Grade Promotion Group.

This is a family event that is a fundraiser for the 5th Grade Promotion celebration!

Lanes MUST be pre-purchased. Lanes will not be available for purchase at the event.

We have five 30 minute time slots starting at 5:30 pm. Please select a time slot allowing time to arrive and check in 10 minutes prior to your selected time. There are 21 lanes available for each time slot- one per family or up to 5 students. If you reserve two lanes, we will assign your lanes together.

Simply click on the time slot using the event link contained in the message below and add a lane (or lanes) to your cart. Lanes are $20 each.

We are also offering the option to pre-purchase large cheese pizzas from Papa Johns. Pizza will be delivered to the cafeteria at 6:00 for pick up to take home or you can eat with your family in the cafeteria before or after bowling. We will also have chips, candy and drinks for sale in the cafeteria, but pizza must be pre-ordered. All food and drink activities will start in the cafeteria AFTER 6:00 (we can't access the space until CASA ends at 6). We ask that you do not bring any food or drinks into the gym during bowling!

This is a fun family event so it's your choice if you want to keep score. There is a free website https://www.bowlinggenius.com/ that makes keeping score easy. You will work with your family to set up your own pins after each turn. Our CCE students will be learning how to do this during PE and can show you how to run your own lane. Wear neon colors to glow with the room!

LCPS are on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Friday, January 10 with Admin. Offices opening on time. Please check our website, www.lcps.org for updates and additional information.

After further assessment of neighborhood roads and sidewalks this evening after sunset, we have determined that Loudoun County Public Schools will remain closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 9, due to additional freezing and icy conditions.

Administrative offices will operate on a delayed schedule and will open at 10:00 a.m.

An announcement will be made by NOON on Thursday if after school activities on campuses may take place.

The Annual Loudoun County School Board Organizational Meeting, scheduled for 4:00 p.m. tomorrow, will proceed as planned.

Loudoun County Public Schools campuses will be allowed to reopen today, Wednesday, Jan. 8 beginning at 4:00 p.m. for scheduled activities.
