Five years ago today, on September 13, 2021, JTA Taekwondo held its very first official class.

The journey to reach this 5-year milestone has been filled with great triumphs, but also immense trials.

Especially looking back at the summer of 2024, when our Dojang faced the brink of closure, it was a moment of true testing.

Hard times have a way of revealing the truth. That painful season clearly showed me who is truly by my side and who was never really meant to be part of my journey. While some chose to walk away, those who believed in me, stood firmly beside my family, and helped us push through the darkest days gave us the strength to survive.

To the parents and students who never wavered, and to the true friends who showed genuine loyalty and support when it mattered most: I will never, ever forget you.
You are the reason JTA stands tall and thriving today.

Thank you for your trust, your love, and for showing me what true family and friendship really mean.
Here is to many more years of strength and resilience together. 🥋🙏
