This is a very bittersweet post. As of September 1st Windward Consulting LLC will be ceasing operations as we have been conducting them for the last 12.5 years. New opportunities have arisen which prompted us to make a very tough decision.
To my multiple generations of staff: thank you all for the effort you brought to the table every day during your tenure with us. Our pass rates from the inception have blown the state and national averages out of the water. Our last six classes posted a 100% pass rate with zero students lost through the process. That's directly a result of your effort. I am humbled to have been able to call you all a part of my team.
To my students: it's been the pleasure of my life. Over 26 EMT classes, 2 cardiac classes, 3 EMR classes, and countless recertification programs it has been far more rewarding than ever expected to watch you grow. The best parts of my quarter of a century in EMS I was able to pass on, and you all took it and made it your own. I cannot express how much I have enjoyed watching your professional lives grow and hearing about that little thing from class that stuck with you. The beginning of every class was exciting and the end was always sad. Thank you for the opportunity you afforded me.
We will still do some con ed stuff, but not under the banner of WCLLC. Thank you again to everyone for this 12 year journey. It was far greater than I had ever expected.
