Some days are just one of those days… and this was definitely one of them! 😂

Disclaimer: This actually happened last week. I’m just a little behind on sharing it! 🤣

A little back-and-forth banter with Patrick from the Dunns corner Verizon store, someone I’ve never actually met in person but have crossed paths with plenty online.

Well, the joking stopped when Patrick actually walked through the shop door, making good on his promise to bring donuts! 🍩😂

Sorry for the late picture, the guys had already gotten to them! And let me tell you, they were some dang good donuts!

But seriously, I wanted to share this as a reminder. To everyone who has ever stopped by with a little something, reached out, or simply said thank you, it never goes unnoticed.

Sometimes it’s the smallest gestures that make the biggest difference. Just do good in life without expecting anything in return. You never know whose day you’re making a little better.

Hey guys, I tried. I really did! 😂

Took a little time out of my crazy day to shoot a quick video on my iPhone like usual. Actually had a pretty cool topic, too!

Got home, went back through my phone, and wouldn’t you know it… I hit PHOTO instead of VIDEO. 🤦‍♂️🤣

So, to the lawnmower I spent a whole 30 seconds talking to today, I hope you enjoyed my speech, because ain’t nobody else heard it! 😂

And to everyone calling and waiting for updates on their equipment, we’re doing our best over here! Just a little busy, and apparently a little scattered, too! LOL.

But hey, on a good note for the day, the Northeast backpack blowers have arrived, and they’re pretty cool, too! 😎🍂

I’ve said it too many times before, so I’m starting to sound like a repeating cassette at this point. 😂

I’ve sold a lot of brands. I’m certified in a lot of brands. And I’ll keep saying it: North East Saw is hands-down the most affordable non-emission saw you can buy these days.

A top-handle saw for under $300 says a lot by itself.

Then you get a message like this over the weekend from a great customer: “Dude, this saw is badass. Best bang for the buck in my opinion.”

To top it off, he walks in Monday and tells me, “That saw killed it. Everything I needed and more.” He even went on to say that, as far as he’s concerned, some manufacturers are really missing the boat by not offering something like this.

So there you have it.

Yeah, we run out of them pretty often because they sell quick. But we’re proud to back a great brand—and a saw that’s actually made for the working class.

Saturday evening, going through clothes—something we all have to do sooner or later. Me? Definitely on the later side. 😂

Tossed an old biker vest from my younger, wilder days into my oldest son’s room, sent a few other things in different directions, and then somewhere deep in the wardrobe I found these two.

I honestly can’t remember what season I hung them up and forgot about them. When it comes to tractors, mechanics are pretty picky about what they wear, and the Eisenhower jacket has always been a favorite—fits right for the job, light enough to wear in the shop, and tough enough to actually work in.

If this jacket and hat could write a book, they’d have some stories. Multiple houses, life before kids, then kids, different jobs, schools, teachers, instructors, and plenty of lessons along the way.

The “Ben” got added somewhere in the middle of it all. Stonington Power came much later, and I remember being pretty damn proud when that patch finally went on.

Anyways… I ended up keeping it. Probably doesn’t fit quite like it used to, but some things are harder to throw away than others.

Hey guys, maybe a little personal, but I’m just throwing this one out there because I’m pretty damn proud of it.

Over 100,000 views on one of my YouTube Shorts! And honestly, the coolest part isn’t even the number—it’s seeing the positive responses and knowing people are actually getting something out of the stuff I’m putting out there.

I definitely didn’t make it my life mission to teach people about small engines and equipment 😂, but somewhere along the way, I realized I actually kind of enjoy it.

Hey guys, before I start this post, let me just say a quick thank you to everyone who’s been bearing with us as we switch over to this new system. I know it hasn’t always been easy, and there have definitely been some growing pains, but I promise—it’s going to be better for all of us once we get everything dialed in.

That being said… long, hard day here today.

Well over 100 phone calls, a line out the door, phones ringing nonstop, and, as usual, you guys somehow keeping me smiling through all of it.

But sometimes a long day is just a long day—and today was definitely one of those.

Before I wrapped things up, I did one last quick check to make sure there weren’t any responses I needed to take care of before heading home, and WHAMMO…

Doug, thanks for making me smile. 😂

It’s one of those things you normally wouldn’t think much of. But after a day like today, you see something that dumb and unexpected pop up on the screen, it puts a smile on your face, and somehow the whole day feels a little bit better.

So I guess that’s the reminder tonight: sometimes it’s the little things. Sometimes it’s the dumb things. But those little moments can make life better all the way around.
