Today, our OLMC community began the morning together in prayer, remembering those who lost their lives on September 11 and honoring the courage of the many helpers and first responders.

Throughout the day, our students participated in activities focused on remembrance, kindness, and peace. Together, we pray for peace in our country and throughout the world.

Lord, make us instruments of Your peace. ❤️🤍💙

Dear OLMC School community!

Mark your calendars! The class of 2027 will be hosting their annual car wash this Saturday, September 12th from 10:00am-1:00pm in the school parking lot. Please come out to support the 8th grade by getting your car washed. Any funds collected help support the end of year events for the Class of 2027.

The faculty and staff of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School have been working hard preparing for an amazing 2026–2027 school year!

We began our time together in the best way, joining together for Mass and receiving a special blessing from Father Francis. Our team also spent time learning our new Student Information System, getting classrooms ready, and making sure everything is prepared to welcome our students back!

We are ready and so excited to welcome our Blue Knights back to school tomorrow! 💙💛

The last day for OLMC Varsity Boys Soccer tryouts is tomorrow, Thursday August 27, from 4:30-6:30pm at Neptune Sunshine Fields. They will be at Field 3 (this is closer to Central Avenue).

On Tuesday's tryout we only had 6 boys come out. If those students who are interested in playing and did not come on Tuesday, THEY MUST BE AT THURSDAY'S tryout or we will not be able to field a team for this upcoming season.

If your child can not make the tryouts, PLEASE SEND Ms. Shields A MESSAGE at [email protected] or through classroom dojo.

OLMC Boys Varsity Soccer Tryouts will be held next week on Tuesday August 25th and Thursday August 27th at Neptune Sunshine Fields from 4:30-6:30pm, for grades 6-7-8.

Students should have cleats and shin guards to play, as well as an up to date physical.

Today, our OLMC students celebrated Catholic World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly by honoring the grandparents, godparents, and senior adults who have shared their love, wisdom, and faith with them.

Thank you to the Mother of Mercy Parish Liturgy Committee for hosting the “I Will Never Forget You” Essay and Picture Drawing Contest, and to Knights of Columbus Council #816 for generously sponsoring the prizes.

Congratulations to all of our student winners! We are so proud of the beautiful ways our students expressed gratitude for the special people who have helped shape their lives and faith.

Splashing into summer fun! 💦☀️

Our Summer Camp students in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade had an amazing day at the Asbury Park Boardwalk Amusements Splash Park! From running through the fountains to cooling off under the sprays, the day was filled with laughter, smiles, and plenty of fun.

At OLMC Summer Camp, every day is an opportunity to make memories, build friendships, and enjoy new adventures together!

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Summer Camp is off to a fantastic start! During our first week, campers combined the excitement of the World Cup with faith-filled lessons. Through Bible stories, prayer, crafts, games, and teamwork, they learned about kindness, serving others, and using their God-given gifts. It has been a wonderful week of faith, friendship, and fun!
