Happy First Day of School from Sisters Academy! We are so happy to have the students back after the long summer and especially grateful to have had new additions to the school ready to greet our girls: we have new desks thanks to generous donors and hygiene bags for each student thanks to Nativity Church in Fair Haven! We wish everyone a happy and healthy school year!

As the school year comes to a close we have to say some hard goodbyes. Today, we have to wish our Midshipmen from the United States Naval Academy all the best that life has to offer!

Maggie and Divina are two very special young women with bright futures ahead of them, and we thank them for sharing their enthusiasm and knowledge with us for the past month!

We are delighted to once again have two INCREDIBLE Midshipmen from the US Naval Academy spending a month with our girls at Sisters Academy! The girls are in awe of them, and rightfully so. They are intelligent, motivated, goal-driven individuals, and the students love every minute they get to spend with them!

The other day they treated the whole 8th grade to Hoffman's Ice Cream in Spring Lake Heights! As you can see, they have really formed a wonderful bond, and we continue to stay in touch with all of our past Midshipmen as well.

Today the fourth graders had the unique opportunity to meet and interact with a Cockopoo Dog named “Moose”. Mrs. Gorman, our former fifth grade teacher and school substitute, graciously and excitedly brought in her dog for a science lesson. Prior to the visit, the students prepared questions that they were interested in knowing about Moose! After many skillfully crafted questions were answered, Moose showed off his many talents! The girls were amazed and delighted with air flying catches, responsive commands and paw high fives! As Moose was rewarded with treats, many of them received a loving hug and wet kiss! A huge thank you to Mrs. Gorman for taking the time to share her loving companion “Moose”! A truly memorable afternoon for all!
