A huge congratulations to the College Achieve Greater Asbury Park High School Student Council which has received the “Standards of Excellence” award from the New Jersey Association of Student Councils!
CAPS high school student council is led by Ms. Loesch and Mrs. Murtha.

The Standards of Excellence award is the most difficult and prestigious award presented by NJASC. Participating student councils conducted a rigorous self-evaluation and then were evaluated by a visiting team from another participating school.

Completed evaluations were then submitted to the State Officer in charge of Special Projects, and then this year’s award winners were decided upon by the State Officers.

Our tenth grade AP Seminar scholars instructed by ELA teacher Ms. Loesch, have successfully completed this year’s course! ✅ 🎉
AP Seminar is a college-level course offered by the College Board as part of the AP Capstone program. It’s designed to teach high school students how to think critically, research deeply, collaborate effectively, and communicate their ideas clearly through writing and presentations.
