It is with much sadness that I announce my resignation as Boys' Varsity Basketball coach at Arvin High. My plans are to return home to Puerto Rico in November and spend my retirement days near the beautiful beaches that surround the island. It has been an honor to represent Arvin and to have coached the many fine young men that have been in the program. My body will leave the area but my heart will always remember the wonderful people I worked with and the great memories we shared during my tenure as coach. God bless you all and have a wonderful season 2016-17. Coach Rivera

Our Summer Tournaments have ended. Our Varsity/JV combo team was 4-8 and JV only team was 2-2. We will be back in October when conditioning starts in preparation for the 2016-17 season.

We just completed our final two fundraisers for the 2015-16 school year. We raised $510 with our BRAX Spirit Cup sale and today raised $1,000 in 30 minutes at our Pizza sale at Arvin High. We had a great year and need to thank all of the coaches, parents and players who participated in this fundraising process. We would also like to thank all the fans that have supported our events.
