Stott Elementary School is looking to hire part-time paraprofessionals for the upcoming school year. Our paraprofessionals are critical to our school. Primary responsibilities include lunch/recess duty, supporting classrooms with clerical work, and sometimes working with students 1:1 or in small groups. Apply online at jeffcopublicschools.org

2020-2021

Stott Elementary School announces the retirement of Mike Cauble. Mike started his second career after retiring from a bakery in 2005. Mike has worked his way up in Jeffco Custodial Services since 2005. Mike has been the Building Engineer at Stott since 2016. Mike is always willing to help lend a hand. Stott Elementary School announces the retirement of Suzanne Hostetler. Suzanne has had an amazing career in education, teaching for 30 years! She will be retiring at the end of the 2020-21 school year. Suzanne spent her first 23 years teaching back in Indiana, and the last 7 years in Jeffco at Stott. Students in Suzanne's classes knew that they were cared for and supported, while at the same time receiving an outstanding education. She did a fantastic job of delivering curriculum, but at the same time, helping her students understand the importance of being a virtuous, upstanding citizen. She will be truly missed. Stott Elementary School announces the retirement of Jeanette Hizel. Jeanette has had a wonderful career as a teacher and Learning Specialist for 32 years! Jeanette started her career in Brighton 27J and then came to Jeffco. She has taught 14 years at Stott and 1 year at VanArsdale. Her life’s work has positively impacted countless students! Stott Elementary School announces the retirement of Tim Jenkins. Tim has had a wonderful career in Jeffco for 29 years! During his time in Jeffco, Tim has taught 14 years at Swanson Elementary and also 15 years at Stott Elementary School. Stott Elementary School announces the retirement of Donna Ostwald. Donna started at Stott Elementary in 1996 and worked as a Parapro for nine years. She returned to school to become a DTL and did her student teaching at Stott. She left for four years and worked as a DTL at Kyffin and Fremont. She returned home to Stott in 2012. She has made such a difference in so many lives with her positive attitude. Donna has a wonderful sense of humor and an amazing work ethic. Stott Elementary School announces the retirement of Caroline VanDyke. Caroline has been a Paraprofessional at Stott since 2000. She has done a wonderful job assisting our teachers in educating our students at every grade level. If you need to find anything at Stott, just ask Caroline! She is our resident guru when our copy machines are not working and is always happy to help! Caroline is an invaluable part of our team and will be missed!
