The 5 Essentials of a Sustainable Nutrition Practice

Session 2: Niche, Positioning & Differentiation

If your potential clients can’t quickly understand who you help, what you help with, and why they should choose you, they’ll keep looking.

You may be qualified to help with a long list of health concerns. But trying to communicate all of that at once can make it harder for potential clients to understand what you do.

When someone lands on your website, reads a post, or hears you talk about your practice, they shouldn’t have to figure out whether you’re for them.

They should be able to see themselves in your message.

That requires getting specific. Who are you talking to? What problem are they trying to solve? What do they want their life to look like on the other side of that problem? And why should they choose you?

Strong positioning isn’t about putting yourself into a tiny box. It’s about making it easy for the right person to recognize that you understand what they’re experiencing and have a clear way to help.

In this free live training, Rachel Leigh will teach you how to get clear about who you’re talking to, simplify your message, and communicate what makes your practice different.

Free 5-Part Business Training Series!

The business skills you need to attract and keep clients, grow with intention, and build a business that supports your life.

This Wednesday, October, 7, join Rachel Leigh for the first part of this business training series: Thinking Like A CEO.

Being a great practitioner and being a strong business owner require two different ways of thinking. You need both.

Learn how to step between practitioner and CEO thinking: make decisions based on facts and data instead of fear or emotion, stay focused on what matters, evaluate what’s working, and make decisions based on what the business needs, not simply what you love doing as a practitioner.

About Rachel:
Rachel Leigh is the founder of Luxia Coaching and an NTI graduate with 16 years of experience building and running a multiple-six-figure health and nutrition practice.

Over the course of her career, Rachel has invested deeply in learning business development, sales, marketing, coaching, and program development. She has built and refined offers, hired and led teams, and created scalable programs, including SHED, a three-month group program that grew to approximately $350,000 in annual revenue.

Today, Rachel continues to run her own practice while mentoring health and nutrition practitioners to help them build profitable, sustainable, and scalable practices of their own.

Rachel is a Certified Nutrition Therapist, an ICF-PCC credentialed coach, a board-certified health and wellness coach through WellCoaches, a certified life coach, and a hormone specialist, with a degree in exercise science.

Free 5-Part Business Training Series!

The business skills you need to attract and keep clients, grow with intention, and build a business that supports your life.

You learned how to help people. But did anyone teach you how to build the business?

Knowing nutrition, understanding your clients, and being great at what you do are important. But building a practice that lasts requires a different set of skills.

How do you find the right clients? What makes someone choose you instead of another practitioner? How do you market your services when putting yourself out there feels uncomfortable? How do you sell without feeling pushy? And how do you make smart business decisions when what you love as a practitioner isn’t always what makes sense for the business?

These are skills you can learn.

Join NTI graduate and business mentor, Rachel Leigh, for a free five-part training series designed to help you build the business skills behind a sustainable health and wellness practice.

Each 60-minute session includes approximately 30 minutes of practical business training followed by 30 minutes of live Q&A, giving you the opportunity to bring your questions and learn how these concepts apply to your own business.

Attend one session, choose the topics you need most, or join us for the full series. Each session must be signed up for individually.

You already know how to help people. Come learn how to build the business that allows you to keep doing it.

New PodTalk episode out today!

Overcoming Food Addiction with Denise Vega

Food addiction and ultra-processed foods are increasingly recognized as complex issues influenced by the brain’s reward system, food formulation, and our modern food environment. In this episode of the NTI PodTalk, Dianne Koehler talks with NTI graduate, Denise Vega, about the science and experience of food addiction. Rather than framing the issue simply as a matter of willpower, Denise and Dianne emphasize awareness, nutrient density, supportive strategies, and understanding the factors that can make certain foods particularly difficult to resist.

When putting dishes together, I like to think about how to combine sweet, salty, sour, bitter, umami, and spicy in one bite. The perfect vehicle is a salad.

This salad has no lettuce, but simple, local, in-season ingredients that can be changed up as the year moves on. Our Seasonal Produce Guide can help you find produce when it tastes the best and is the most nutritious.
