The official first day of school is Wednesday, August 19. Check your student’s school calendar for specifics, as some students do not start until Thursday, August 20 (Charter school families, please follow your school calendar).

Cheer on our Arvada SROs!!

Mark your calendars for the 3rd Annual Guns-n-Hoses Softball Tournament. August 29th at Youth Memorial Sports Complex. Come watch as they play softball and swing their bats for the community for Police Foundation and Friends of Arvada Fire. as they raise money for their foundations. The Summer Food Service Program is back, starting tomorrow, June 2!

All kids and teens (ages 1–18) are welcome for free meals at any of the sites below — no sign-up or paperwork needed.

Arvada West High School: until June 25
Eiber, Lumberg and Patterson Elementary Schools: until July 31
(No meals on June 19 or July 3)
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

A good time was had by all starting with our Trimester 3 Awards Ceremonies, then our Community Picnic (with hot dogs grilled by Ms. Baune), and ending the day with our 5th grade continuation ceremony. So proud of our Firebirds!! Watch out, they are headed your way soon!
