After 25+ years in the same spot, the Artesia Band is getting a new home at Bulldog Bowl!

It’s a little bittersweet, but it’s also a great sign of a growing and healthy band program. The move will give our students more room and help make Friday Night Lights an even better experience for everyone.

🎶 It’s a big weekend for the Artesia Bands!

Before we look ahead to Monday, don’t miss tonight’s Summer Band Showcase at Bulldog Bowl! Come out around 6:00 PM following the football inter-squad scrimmage and be among the first to see the Pride of the Pecos Valley perform selections from this year’s field show, Heroes.

Then, join us on Monday, August 10, for our August Band Booster meeting!

This month’s meeting will be held at the Zia Band Hall immediately following the Zia Open House. Parents from all APS band programs and AHS Band alumni are invited as we continue planning for another exciting year.

🎶 Join us Friday evening for the AHS Summer Band Showcase! 🎺

Be among the first to see the Pride of the Pecos Valley perform their 2026 marching show after two weeks of summer rehearsals.

Come early to enjoy the AHS Football Skills & Drills Camp and Inter-Squad before the band takes the field for their Summer Band Showcase. Bulldog Football starts at 5pm with the Bulldog Band after.

Bring your family, invite your friends, and come support our Bulldog students. We can’t wait to see you there!

The Artesia Band Boosters invite all APS Band parents and AHS Band alumni to join us for our first meeting of the 2026–2027 school year!

Whether you’re a returning family, new to the band program, or an alumnus looking to reconnect and give back, we’d love to have you with us as we begin planning for another exciting year.

Come meet other band families, hear what’s ahead, learn how you can get involved, and help continue the tradition of supporting the Artesia Band Program.

What an incredible day at our 12th Annual Artesia Band Boosters Clay Shoot!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students and band program. Because of this amazing community, another Clay Shoot is in the books and was a tremendous success.

To our shooters and sponsors, thank you for choosing to invest in our students and the future of the Artesia Band Program. Your generosity and support mean more than you know. We’ll be sharing our full list of sponsors soon so we can recognize each of you properly.

To our volunteers, thank you for the early morning, long hours, and willingness to jump in wherever needed. This event simply doesn’t happen without the people working behind the scenes to make it all come together. A special thank you to the students and band directors who spent part of their Saturday serving alongside us. Your support and willingness to help did not go unnoticed.

We would also like to recognize Kevin and Tracy Bartley for the countless hours of preparation, coordination, and heavy lifting leading up to today’s event. Their dedication helped make another successful Clay Shoot possible.

Because of this community’s support, our students have opportunities to learn, perform, grow, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making our 12th Annual Clay Shoot one to remember. We are proud to be part of a community that continues to show up for our kids.

Today, we remember the heroes who gave their lives in service to our country. The men and women whose sacrifice allows us the freedom to gather, learn, perform, and proudly represent our community through music.

As bands across our nation play tributes, marches, and songs of remembrance, we honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy every day.
