Grover Heights PTA Page The PTA is here to support the students, teachers, and staff at Grover Heights Elementary! We would love for you to be involved!

Your PTA team is working hard to make sure that the kids at Grover Heights have an awesome year! PTA puts on one major fundraiser towards the beginning of the year called the Dragon Drive Fun Run. The proceeds from this event funds activities for the students, and supplies for the teachers,staff, and school for the rest of the school year. Events like Family Movie Night, Talent Show, and Walk Thro

ugh America are funded by the PTA. Anyone can attend the monthly PTA meetings and members can participate in voting on things like budgets and event details. Membership in the PTA is $10.00 per year and membership envelopes are located in the school office. If you would like to be a part of Grover Heights PTA please reach out to us! We always welcome new members and new faces. We also offer meetings in person with a virtual option so you can attend a meeting right from your own home! We hope to see you at a meeting or on campus soon!

Grover Heights Elementary School Dragon families we hope you will come out for our first “Thunder Lunch on the Lawn”! Students worked so hard in Trimester 2, and we thought this would be a fun way for families to gather as the trimester comes to a close. Full details are available on ParentSquare. But check-in at the office and bring your lunch to eat with your student tomorrow from 11:45am-12:25pm before the minimum day dismissal!

We can't wait for tonights special partnership with Fair Oaks Theatre ! Here are a few reminders:

🍿arrive at 5:45 (Fair Oaks Theater) to get checked in (only those who RSVP'd will be permitted to attend)
🍿 The concession stand will be open for purchases and all families in attendance will get a free treat!
🍿 Please remind students to be on their best ROAR behavior at the theater and to throw all trash away, leaving the theater as we found it.
🍿PJ's optional, but encouraged! 🙂

We were excited to sponsor the California Weekly Explorer production company to come to GH today! All fourth and some fifth graders got to participate in this special interactive experience focused on California history. Congratulations to the students on a job well done for memorizing speaking parts, dressing up, and engaging in the various activities!

Making this years Fun Run event the highest earning fundraiser ever at Grover Heights! This means we’ll be celebrating tomorrow, and maybe even have a couple of special guests…—we can't wait!
