Our new Adult Education banner is officially up on the entry fence—and we’re already seeing it in action! 👀

Just today, we watched a car pull up to the curb so someone could snap a photo of the QR code and learn more about what Adult Ed has to offer. 🙌

🥳That’s exactly what we hoped for! We’re excited to make this part of campus more visible and help ensure that people who may not have known about our program now have an easy way to find us, explore their options, and take that next step.

Sometimes, all it takes is being seen. 💙

🥳Lucia Mar Adult Education is excited to invite you to our upcoming Resource Fair on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 5:00–7:00 PM at the GOC Boardroom, 602-G Orchard Street, Arroyo Grande.

🤝This is an opportunity to connect with local agencies and organizations that provide services and support to individuals and families in our community. Representatives will be available to share information and answer questions about resources related to:

🎉 Wow! Our largest phlebotomy class has officially started today!🩺💉

Lucia Mar Adult Education is proud to partner with AUMT Institute to bring phlebotomy training right here to the Central Coast!

Every Friday from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, our students will learn from the wonderful Ms. Becky Flores as they take an exciting step toward a career in healthcare.

The first day of class is always something special, and we are so excited to watch this incredible group learn, grow, and work toward their goals! 💙 We can’t wait to see where this journey takes each of them and look forward to celebrating their success along the way.

👋Happy Monday, everyone!
Our fall session is officially here, and our schedule is now active!
Below, you’ll find the days and times our learning centers are open, along with the locations for our new Direct Instruction classes.

🧠These classes are designed for students who prefer a more traditional classroom setting compared to our hybrid, work-from-home model. We want to support your individual learning style as best we can, and we’re excited to welcome some new teachers to our team who will help make that possible!

🤝Remember, any teacher, at any time, can help unlock a quiz or test. If you usually work with one specific teacher but can’t meet with them that day or time, feel free to visit either learning center and get the same task completed. We work as a team, and we’re looking forward to having you meet and work with more of our amazing teachers throughout the year.

🎉Guess what time it is?
It’s time for Adult Education’s Fall Session!

🚪Our Learning Centers reopen Monday morning and we’re excited to welcome you back! We’ve been preparing for the upcoming school year and are making a few changes to our Learning Centers. These changes will create a more collaborative system, provide greater consistency for students, and give us more time to focus on supporting you and your goals.

📝An important change: the re-enrollment process will look a little different than it has in the past. Please make sure that you contact our office to get scheduled before jumping into an old session. 805-474-3222.

🎒 Adult Education was out on the town at the Oceano Community Center today!

🤝We were proud to participate in the annual Families in Transition (FIT) Program resource fair, supporting students and families in the Lucia Mar Unified School District.

👥Our Adult Education team connected with families by sharing program information, handing out flyers, merch, snacks, and salon coupons for free haircuts. It was a great opportunity to highlight the resources and educational opportunities available to our community while supporting students as they prepare for a successful school year.
